A typical monthly sales report
An illustrative example of the kind of change we make. Your process will differ - that is what the brief is for.
Assembled by hand
- Five regional workbooks emailed in, each laid out slightly differently
- Rows copied into a master sheet and totals checked by eye
- Charts rebuilt, then pasted into a PowerPoint pack one by one
- Easy to miss a file or double-count a region
Refreshed in one step
- Power Query imports and standardises every regional file from one folder
- Checks flag missing regions and unexpected values
- A dashboard and the PowerPoint charts update from the same data
- Documented, so anyone on the team can run it
From problem to finished solution
A short conversation replaces a long requirements meeting. A person takes it from there.
Step 1Describe your need
Tell the project assistant about your business problem in plain language. It asks focused follow-up questions.
Step 2Approve a clear brief
Review the structured summary, edit anything, attach sample files, and approve it. A specialist then replies with questions or a fixed quote.
Step 3We build and test it
Once you accept the quote, a specialist builds the solution and tests it against the acceptance criteria you agreed.
Step 4Receive and use it
You get a ready-to-use solution with instructions, and a chance to request adjustments within the agreed scope.
AI helps you explain the problem. People solve it.
Our project assistant makes it easy to describe what you need, but it does not build anything. Every solution is designed, written, and tested by a specialist who reads your brief and works with your data.
- Every request reviewed by a person before any quote
- Tested against the acceptance criteria you approved
- Delivered with instructions, not as a black box
A fixed quote before any work starts
Every project is different, so every project is quoted individually. Once a specialist has reviewed your requirements, you receive a fixed price stating what is included. Nothing is charged until you accept it.
What you get with every quote
- A clear list of deliverables
- A fixed price, not an hourly estimate
- The assumptions the price depends on
- A single link to review and accept it
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be technical to describe my project?
No. Describe the task the way you would to a colleague - what you do today, what you start from, and what you want at the end. The project assistant asks follow-up questions and turns your answers into a structured brief.
You can review and edit every part of that brief before you submit it.
Is the work done by AI?
No. The AI assistant only helps you describe and organise your requirements. Every solution is built, tested, and delivered by a human specialist.
If the AI assistant is unavailable, the page switches to short guided questions and tells you so.
How is the price decided?
A specialist reviews your requirements and sample files, then sends a fixed quotation that states what is included. The price depends on the scope, the complexity of your data, and how much automation is involved.
Nothing is charged until you accept a quotation. Any estimate the assistant mentions is preliminary and replaced by the specialist's quote.
What files can I share, and are they kept private?
You can attach Excel (.xlsx, .xlsm, .xls), CSV, PowerPoint, Word, PDF, and image files up to 10 MB each. Files are stored privately on our server and are accessible only to the 365 Metrix team.
Uploaded files are never sent to the AI assistant and are never opened or run on our server. If your data is sensitive, share a small sample with the confidential values replaced.
Which software do you work with?
Our core work is in Microsoft Excel (including VBA and Power Query), PowerPoint, and Power BI. Tell us your exact version and platform - Microsoft 365, an older Excel, or Excel for Mac - because it affects what can be built.
If you use other tools, mention them in your request and we will confirm whether we can help before quoting.
Ready to stop doing it by hand?
Tell our project assistant what you are trying to achieve. A specialist reviews it and replies with questions or a fixed quotation - nothing is charged until you accept.
